Who Invented the High Five? Competing Origin Stories
Watch this Think Bigger Short from the video library on Ryan Fulks’s portfolio. The subject: explore the competing stories behind the high five. The Short follows connections to baseball, basketball, and earlier gestures rather than assuming a single uncontested origin.
From the Think Bigger project
Ryan co-founded Think Bigger and co-hosts the show with Vince Penman. The project brings together educational storytelling, on-camera conversations, editing, and motion design across full episodes and short videos.
